Importance Notice on 2017 Fall Accommodation

Dear 2017 Fall Incoming exchange students:

According to university’s arrangement (please find it in the attachment), we exchange students along with other more than 300 international students who already applied for on-campus accommodation will be arranged to stay either in Dingchunde Hotel (Click for hotel details) or Shanshui Trend Hotel (Click for hotel details) till the end of this semester. Unfortunately, single room preference will not be available then. We are sorry for this. But these two hotels have the best location and room conditions than other options, and please note the follow issues for staying in these two hotels:

1. Check-in will be available from Aug.20^th.

2. Check-in Requirements

200RMB for deposit and the rent for the first month 2400RMB (Cash ONLY)

Copy of the passport

Admission letter

3. Check-in Procedures

-Check-in at UIBE Housing department: The front desk of Huibin Bld (#6 Bldg.)

Show the required documents (Admission letter and Passport)

Submit copy of the passport

Pay 2400RMB rent for the first month (Cash ONLY)

Get a rent receipt

-Check-in at Hotel

Show the rent receipt

Pay the deposit 200RMB (Cash ONLY)

Pick up the room card

5. Room type and price

Due to the room shortage, you will be randomly assigned a roommate with the same gender to stay in a standard two-bed room. Both hotels are 10-minute walk from campus. You only need to pay 80 RMB per person per day, UIBE will cover the price difference. All utilities are included.

6. Payment

Our housing department will confirm with you in the last week of each month and if you will continue to stay for the next month, you have to pay the rent in cash.

7. Check-out rules

The payment is on a monthly basis. If you stay there less than a month, they will still charge you a whole-month rent.
