Important Notice for 2016 Fall Incoming Students

Dear 2016 Fall incoming students, you may be ready for the study at UIBE, and we will be ready to greet you here. Here are some important information for you to start your semester, please read them carefully:

*Visa. If you did not get the student visa to come, you can still apply for tourist visa and change it to student visa when you are here.

*Accommodation. Accommodation will be available from Aug.15.

*Statutory Registration at SIE: It is compulsory for each exchange student to have statutory registration at SIE. Please take passport, admission letter, JW202 form to the Basement, Huibin Bld on Aug.22-23 for registration.

*Insurance. According to the regulations of the Chinese Ministry of Education, students of Non-Degree Programs must buy insurance as a necessary material to register which can be used in mainland China, students can also buy insurance in the school directly, without the materials ,the students shall not complete the registration. If you don’t have valid international insurance, you need to buy insurance when you register at SIE. It may cost no more than 600 RMB. Cash Only.

Learning Agreement for final registration: It has to be submitted NO LATER THAN Sept.9 after one-week trial. Once it is submitted, you can not make any change.

*Buddy program. Final matching name list has already been emailed to those who applied. If you did not apply for this program, you may also find one buddy when you get here.
